Established in 1995, Walton Design & Consulting Engineering Co., Ltd(WDCE)is a joint venture and international architectural designing company. The headquarter or offices of WDCE is in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen Seattle, and Urumqi. There are approximately 700 employees. With Grade A qualification in Planning Design, Grade A qualification in Architectural Design and Grade B qualification in Landscape Design, WDCE’s business includes urban planning and design, architectural design, landscape design and interior design. WDCE is fully involved in comprehensive designing from step A to Z and it operates several projects in large and medium sized cities all over China. Some of these projects won Outstanding Design Awards issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and municipalities.

WDCE is the most influential designing company in headquarter office area and site planning. It is a trailblazer that created the planning and construction model for headquarter office areas in China. Planning and architecture designing projects in which WDCE is involved are Zhong Guancun Life Science Park, TBD Science, Technology and Finance Island (Zhu Hua Town) in Chang Ping, Zhong Guancun, the second phase program of CMCC International Information Port, the Zhong Guancun New Science and Technology Town (Bao Chi) in Hei Bei, Tianjin and Beijing, the Qing Yang Concentrated Industrial Area in Cheng Du, the High Tech Service Area in North of Shang Hai and so on.
WDCE is also specialized in TOD (transit-oriented development) unitary development planning and architecture design. It planned and designed the Chang Yang Station in Fang Shan District, Beijing. Other demonstrative projects of WDCE are rail transport hub integration designs for Railway Bureau Station and Ba Lou Station in Xinjiang autonomous region.
